A new design and easier navigation are just some of the refreshing updates CCSTA has completed on its re-vamped website design!
Launching its new design in early October, CCSTA has drawn from the Ottawa Catholic School Board’s resources, which also integrated changes within its own website system. “When reaching out to a nationwide audience, we know the best way to communicate with trustees, educators, families, clergy and political members is via the internet,” says Executive Director John Stunt. “So we were really excited to take a new approach
with our website design and demonstrate all that we have to offer in nice, clean online format.”
Website visitors will be welcomed by CCSTA’s frequently updated news feed on the home page. They can also easily access information regarding the Board of Directors and staff contacts, events, publications and newsletters posted to the site. “The easier the website is to use, the better our visitors will relate to CCSTA and what we want to communicate to a national audience,” explains CCSTA President Ted Paszek. Mr. Stunt credits the OCSB’s staff members for their commitment to the CCSTA website re-design. “We couldn’t have made this happen without the support and creativity of our Ottawa Catholic School Board colleagues, particularly Caroline Bachynski,” he says.
The website launch’s timing couldn’t have been any better as CCSTA welcomed nearly 300 delegates to its Catholic Education: A National Conversation conference that same week in Ottawa. “We had a captive audience so we took the opportunity to spread the news about our website,” explains Mr. Paszek. “Now, when delegates went home, it’s our hope they bookmarked our website and will continue to stay up to date on all that CCSTA is doing to help promote Catholic education across Canada.”
