We can’t wait to gather with you!
We’re excitedly gearing up for our 2024 AGM & Convention from May 30 – June 1, 2024 and we’re hoping you can join us.
The school year is a busy one for everyone involved and we think this late-spring gathering is the perfect time to be encouraged in our common mission of Catholic Education.
We want to celebrate with you the many accomplishments of your Catholic school board this year and facilitate helpful discussions surrounding the biggest issues faced by Catholic school trustees across the country this year.
Despite varying funding structures and school board practices from province to province, the mission of Catholic Education is a shared one – as are the many challenges faced by our schools this year.
Join us as we connect, celebrate, encourage one another and find renewed passion for our common mission of Canadian Catholic Education.
Hosted in Alberta’s biggest city, this year’s AGM will take place at downtown Calgary’s stunning Hyatt Regency Hotel, just steps from the bustling excitement of Calgary’s best restaurants, shops and historical districts.
Our participants can look forward to the incredible lineup of speakers, the chance to explore the beautiful city of Calgary, enjoy locally-sourced, chef-prepared meals and the opportunity to connect with, encourage and grow together with Catholic School trustees and board members from across the country.
We checked in with our 2024 AGM & Conference Organizing Committee to see how preparations are coming along and we’re excited to share the highlights and registration links with you below!
Meet our 2024 Organizing Team!
The theme for this year’s conference is “Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!
2 Corinthians 9:15
What inspired this theme?
God’s indescribable gift is Jesus and there is no greater gift to give a child than a close personal relationship with Jesus.
Gratitude for God means that we trust him with our lives. We trust that our vocations as teachers, leaders, trustees, board members and parents are divinely inspired and that he is working through us.
The conference will encourage all participants to acknowledge and celebrate our own gifts and talents, as well as those of others.
We can’t wait to gather in Calgary this year! What can you tell us about the location where the AGM & Convention will be hosted this year?
Conveniently located downtown, the Hyatt Regency Calgary is within walking distance to many of Calgary’s biggest attractions. Participants will be just steps away from the historic Stephen Avenue, lined with art, eateries and shopping and a short distance from the iconic Calgary tower!
“Whether staying for business or treating yourself to a relaxing getaway, you’ll find a comfortable, classy refuge at our downtown hotel. For ultimate relaxation, visit our Calgary hotel spa, pool with breathtaking views, retreat to your spacious hotel room sanctuary. Venture outside to find the Calgary Tower, the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre, the new Central Library and Studio Bell—home of the National Music Center. The Canadian Rockies are also just a short drive from our hotel.”
